Down sized employees today must manage the
complex and devastating business of finding a new
job. Increasingly out placement advise resources
include the use of the World Wide Web as a key
job search tool. Companies are actually training
people to use the Internet to find jobs. Full out
placement services provide career counseling,
coaching and training. Employees are instructed on
how to use CD-ROM databases of business and
industry and the Internet. Private companies
often hire consultants to help people find
jobs. The web is a full resource for locating independent
consultants or for assembling and outplacement
program on your own. Doing it yourself requires
motivation and organizations. Consultants,
on the other hand, provide secretarial services, video
taped interview practice, sample cover letters,
resumes, and posting electronic resumes and
searching job data banks.
